HOPE GROUPS

Hope groups are online gatherings keeping us connected and loving one another

(Hebrews 10:24-25)

WHAT ARE HOPE GROUPS?

COMMUNITIES OF HOPE

In light of COVID-19 we do not want to neglect meeting together as the body of Christ.

Hope groups allow our church community to meet virtually in smaller gatherings to engage with God’s Word and encourage one another.

“And let us consider how to stir one another to love and good works, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near.”
Hebrews 10:24-25

When are Hope Groups?

SUNDAY MORNING

Hope groups meet Sunday mornings at the following times:

  • 8:30am – 9:15am for prayer
  • 9:15am – 10:30am for service
  • 10:30am – 11:15am for discussion

Hope Groups are replacing the time we would normally gather together on a Sunday morning for church.

Sunday morning we have an opportunity to prioritize what matters most: The church and mission of Jesus Christ.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I still meet with my original small group during the week?
In this season, your Small group’s main priority is to multiply into Hope Groups and launch new Hope Groups to provide an online community for the whole body. However, if your original small group can commit to both Sunday Hope Group and mid-week Zoom Meeting… go for it! If you use a WhatsApp group to connect during the week, keep using those to encourage and pray for one another.
Who can I ask if I have questions as a Hope Group member?

We encourage you to go directly to your Hope Group leader, as they are working together with an Elder and Deacon from our Church to best care for you.

How big will the Hope Groups be?

The typical size of a Hope Group will be 10-15 people.
