Gathering together in prayer and worship this Christmas season!
The Gospel must go out, and we must pray!
This Christmas Prayer Meeting, we will be praying over the names of the people we will invite through our Invitation of Hope (see below) and that God would give us a heart of love in all our other Christmas Initiatives. Join us on Sunday, December 15 at 7 PM at Capstone Community Bible Church (1483 Royal York Rd) as we call out to the Lord to supply us with Spirit-empowered boldness and words to take the Good News of great joy to those we love.
Sunday, December 22 @ 9:15 AM
Bring your family, friends,
Going above & beyond our regular giving for the sake of global and local mission!
ABOVE AND BEYOND OUR REGULAR GIVING FOR THE SAKE OF MISSION
Every year we are so blessed to partner with many different Gospel-focused mission organizations to devote our Christmas offering
Below are some of the ways we will be using the Christmas offering:
In the wake of a massive social and economic crisis, nearly 4 million citizens have fled Venezuela to seek refuge in neighbouring countries. Over a third have fled to Colombia, arriving without food, medicine, shelter, or their basic needs. We’re purchasing emergency kits for Compassion Churches to aid Venezuelan Refugees. A portion of our Christmas Offering will be given to Compassion Canada in aid of Venezuelan Refugees. Compassion Canada will be setting up a booth in the lobby every Sunday morning in December. Please visit the booth to find out more information on how your gift will help OUTLOVE poverty in the World.
We will also be supporting Galcom International in the production and distribution of 200-300 Solar Powered Radios which will deliver solid Bible teaching to the people in Haiti through our mission team in Fall 2020. We will also be supporting Compassion Canada in caring for mothers and newborns through the Child Survival Program in Cap-Haïtien, Haiti.
We will be supporting the Pregnancy Care Center helping mothers facing unexpected pregnancies. Also, we will be supporting our Lakeshore Village outreaches and sponsoring kids and youth for our Summer, Fall and Winter Camps in 2020

Taking the Gospel in love to those around us!
This year we’re challenging our congregation to consider inviting one person (a friend, coworker, family or neighbour) to come over to your place for a Christmas meal. We’ll be providing our congregation with Christmas Cards and Commitment slips. Give the Christmas Card to the person you are inviting and return the Commitment Card with the person’s name on it to us, then come to our Christmas Prayer Meeting where we’ll pray over these names and ask the Lord to use us to show Hope & Hospitality this Christmas season!
PICK UP YOUR INVITATION CARDS
Please pick up your invitation cards in December either at Connections in the lobby on Sunday or at our church office during the week (Monday to Thursday, 8:30 AM – 5 PM).
Please email: email@example.com for more information.
