LOCAL OUTREACH
Hope Outreach exists to spread the Kingdom of God through Word, Deed and Prayer.
(Matthew 9:35-37)
Outreach is central to the mission of our Church to glorify God through the fulfillment of the Great Commission in the spirit of the Great Commandment
REACH THE CITY
Hope Outreach exists to enable the “share” life as salt & light. Our local outreach ministries mobilize the church to reach out to people in need in our own church, our community and our city.
“You are the salt of the earth, but if salt has lost its taste, how shall its saltiness be restored? It is no longer good for anything except to be thrown out and trampled under people’s feet. “You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden. Nor do people light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a stand, and it gives light to all in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven.” – Matthew 5:13-16
Check out this below video testifying to God’s faithfulness in leading us to reach our city seniors.
REACH THE CITY: SENIORS
For over six years, our church has been faithfully serving seniors in the South Etobicoke community each month. Through the doors God has graciously opened, we have the privilege of connecting with over 350 seniors across three government housing residences. We do this through phone calls, community events, Bible studies, and ongoing relational care. Many of these seniors face deep isolation and vulnerability, often with little hope or support. Our desire is to meet them in those moments with genuine love and compassion, and to gently point them to the hope found in Jesus.
Over the years, we’ve been grateful to see many step into our church community—and some even take the step of baptism. We invite you to watch the video above to see more of what God is doing through this ministry.
REACH THE CITY: PCC FAMILIES
In partnership with Pregnancy Care Centre, It is an opportunitiy for us to come alongside and serve families who are experiencing unexpected pregnancies. We share God’s heart to walk alongside PCC families with compassion and practical support. Through building relationships, offering care, and creating spaces of belonging, we desire to reflect Christ’s love in tangible ways. Our prayer is that every family we connect with would experience hope, dignity, and a community that truly cares.
We do this through quaterly events for PCC families & regular soul care. Visit www.pccfriends.ca to learn more about the para church ministry.
REACH THE CITY: STUDENTS
A ministry to reach Humber college campus as a response to the growing international student population and their needs in our nieghbhourhood. We are passionate about reaching students with the hope and truth of the gospel. By showing up consistently, building authentic friendships, and creating safe, welcoming spaces, we aim to journey with students through the challenges of life and faith. Our desire is to see young people encounter Jesus personally and grow in purpose, identity, and belonging. Join us to bring Hope on campus through our quaterly street evangelism events and other student meetups.
