Therefore welcome one another as Christ has welcomed you, for the glory of God. (Romans 15:7)

We aspire to be a church that makes people feel at home and welcomed. Because of the generous welcome we have received from Jesus Christ into the household of God, we extend the same joyous open arms to all who would come to visit or join our church family.

We know the value of a warm greeting, and how much a simple smile or kind word or hug can brighten up someone’s day. So we seek to do our best to welcome everyone who comes through our doors as we represent Christ and his Kingdom here.

Our Welcome Team greets people at the door, and helps to usher them in and show them where to go. The Welcome Team also serves as the first point of contact for newcomers to get information and ask questions. They help in handing out materials, registering people for various events, taking up the offering, giving out sermon notes, collecting the Connection Cards and much more. They are an essential part of our Sunday morning ministry and help make our services run smoothly and serve the people of our church and those visiting in many different ways.

How can I serve on the Welcome Team?

Do you have a passion for welcoming people? Do you appreciate the value of a smiling face and warm greeting? Do you love to meet new people and help them get connected by introducing them to others and assisting them in figuring out where they fit in? Are you driven by the Gospel to seek to bring in outsiders and all who would come to find a loving and active community that loves Jesus and one another? Then the welcome team may be the right place for you!
